Announcement of Grant for Open Education Gathering, October 4th , 2016 at the Maskwacis Cultural College
Interested in learning about open education? You are invited to apply for an exciting funded continuing education opportunity. The Maskwacis Cultural College (MCC) is hosting a day-long gathering about open education practices. This grant will cover registration costs, applications must be received by Friday, September 16th 2016.

Maskwacis Cultural College Library is proud to fund this workshop because it supports library’s statement of values in its Diversity Policy and Plan to demonstrate and promote diversity, inclusivity, and equity throughout the organization and its programs and services.

Amount of Grant:
Eligible expenses include registration fees
Education administrators, instructional designers, instructional technologists, instructors, students, literacy, and library staff
Application to contain the following: one paragraph rationale statement stating ways in which you will apply open education practices in your life or work
Provide a 1-2 page report describing the event and the impact it had on your professional development, within one month of attending the workshop.
